Good Smile Company is a Japanese manufacturer of hobby products, such as scale figures and the Nendoroid and figma product lines. In addition to manufacturing, its business includes figure design and marketing. Its products are usually based on anime or manga currently popular in Japan, although the company has also been known to produce goods based on other media properties, such as the voice synthesizer software Vocaloid and the dōjin soft danmaku/bullet hell game series Touhou Project. The firm has also collaborated with Red Entertainment on Shuraki, an original property.
In April 2009 the associated company Goodsmile Racing (GSR) was established[1] producing model cars and participating in Super GT races.
